4th Street Theater Presents Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Chesterton, IN – October 22, 2025 – The game is afoot at 4th Street Theater! Audiences are invited to step into the foggy world of London and the eerie moors of Devonshire with the theater’s upcoming production of Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, the fast-paced and hilarious theatrical adventure by Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig.

Performances will run from November 7 through November 23, 2025 at the 4th Street Theater, located at 125 N. 4th Street, Chesterton IN.

Baskerville reimagines Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic mystery The Hound of the Baskervilles with a brilliant comic twist. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson face their most daunting case yet, racing to unravel the mystery of the Baskerville family curse before another victim falls prey to the legendary hound. In a dazzling display of theatrical creativity, five actors portray more than 40 characters, bringing suspense and humor to life with quick costume changes, physical comedy, and boundless energy.

“This show is a true love letter to both Sherlock Holmes and live theater,” says Rob Hunt, director of the 4th Street Theater production. “Ken Ludwig takes one of literature’s most thrilling mysteries and infuses it with wit, playfulness, and pure theatrical fun. Our audiences are going to be laughing one moment and on the edge of their seats the next.”
