4th Street Theater Presents the 9th Annual 10-Minute Play Festival!
4th Street Theater announces its highly anticipated event, the 10-Minute Play Festival, a showcase of talent and creativity from new and experienced playwrights, directors, and actors. This festival promises to captivate audiences with an evening of diverse, thought-provoking, and entertaining short plays that explore an array of themes and emotions.
The 10-Minute Play Festival is a celebration of the art of brevity, offering a unique platform for emerging and established playwrights to showcase their storytelling skills in a concise format. Audiences will be treated to an exciting array of performances, each lasting no more than ten minutes, but packing an emotional punch that will linger long after the curtain falls.
"We are thrilled to bring the 10-Minute Play Festival to our community,” said Linda Pauli, creator and producer of the Festival. “This event not only gives talented playwrights a chance to shine but also provides our audiences with an unforgettable experience, immersing them in an evening of creativity and imagination. The festival is a testament to the incredible pool of talented actors, directors, and writers we have in our community."
The festival lineup will feature a diverse selection of plays, encompassing a wide range of genres, from drama and comedy to fantasy and suspense. Each play is a gem on its own, carefully curated to showcase the vast storytelling potential within the constraints of a ten-minute time frame.
The 10-Minute Play Festival will run for two weekends, starting on August 18th and concluding on August 27th. Performances will take place at 4th Street Theater located at 125 N. 4th Street in downtown Chesterton. Tickets can be purchased through our website at www.4thstreetncca.com or by contacting our box office at 219-926-7875. Sunday shows are at 3:00 pm, all other shows start at 8:00 pm
